| 1/24/04 | Center for Integrative Psychotherapy, Director Incorporated this Center with a mission to provide training in the form of workshops, videotapes, and conferences on topics related to healing the mind, body and spirit. Since 1998, I have trained hundreds of clinicians to use Energy Psychology methods, and facilitate a monthly consultation group for clinicians to incorporate these methods into their clinical practice. In addition, I have developed a one-day training on using Energy Therapies for Multiply Traumatized Patients. I have also presented at conferences both nationally and internationally on using Energy Therapies for trauma. I have produced two training videos for clinicians: Using TFT with a World Trade Center Survivor, and Transforming Trauma with TFT, plus a video for the general public: Thought Field Therapy for Stress Management and Peak Performance. |
| 1/1/00 – present | Private Practice, Latham, NY Clinical Social Worker. I usually see over 25 patients a week with a variety of clinical issues, specializing in the field of trauma and traumatic stress. I also supervise Social Workers, especially regarding their trauma patients. |
| 1/01 – present | Adjunct Professor, Siena College Adjunct professor in the department of Social Work at Siena College, Loudonville, NY. I teach a class in Interpersonal Communications for the Social Work Department and assist in supervising Field Placements. |
| 11/91- 8/00 | Community Health Plan/Kaiser Permanante/ Community Care Physicians, Latham, NY Clinical Social Worker. Duties included individual and group therapy for a large number of patients served by a Health Maintenance Organization. My clinical caseload was usually 30 individual patients per week and two therapy groups. In addition, I specialized in the treatment of PTSD and Dissociative Disorders, facilitating a therapy group for patients diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.
