METHODOLOGIES: My guiding goal of therapy is to promote my clients’ self-empowerment, working together toward an improvedsense health and happiness. I am nationally certified, distance certified, and licensed in N.Y. state. My specialty is helping people
release themselves from maladaptive, stuck patterns. Since our emotional state is intrinsically connected to the mental, physical
and spiritual aspects of our being, I believe a holistic approach is the best way to address any imbalance. I utilize a variety of
approaches in the treatment process, depending on the needs of my clients. All treatments include a three-pronged approach:
education & skill-building, “fire-fighting” to assist with current challenges, and rebalancing of old traumas. Energy Psychology
modalities in which I am trained and/or certified are: Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T., certified since 2004), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R., Level II trained), Touch and Breathe (T.A.B. trained) and Thought Field Therapy
(T.F.T. trained), guided imagery (hypnosis certified), and I use cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic frameworks.
Applied Kinesiology is often used as a tool in my work, and I employ Aromatherapy as an adjunct to other treatment modalities.
POPULATIONS I WORK WITH: Adult individuals and couples. I specialize in people with trauma, as well as emotional components to physical injuries and illnesses that are unresponsive to other treatments.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I keep informed of the latest news in the field of psychoneuroimmunology, and am continually honing my skills to better assist my clients. I teach a variety of workshops for self-help and self-healing.
